About the scholarship
This scholarship is for enrollment to The Video Editing Course. It's a fun, crazy-efficient online course that teaches you to produce videos and edit in Adobe Premiere Pro like an expert (even if you're a noob at the moment).
Feedback requirements
We’re offering this scholarship in exchange for your honest feedback on the course.
We’re doing this because we know that giving thorough, quality feedback can be time-intensive, and while our students often share their thoughts with us, it’s usually in small bits and only as their busy schedules allow.
Honesty is key
Obviously we’d be thrilled if you find the course valuable, but if it leaves you with a laundry list of complaints, we want you to tell us that straight-up and unfiltered.
We’re absolutely not looking for B.S. reviews. We only want your authentic thoughts — good or bad — so that we can improve our courses and accurately inform others what the course is like.
Feedback you’ll give
If you’re chosen for the scholarship, you'll give us feedback on the course in two ways:
an online questionnaire that could take up to an hour
a 45-minute interview via video chat that will be recorded
You’ll share this feedback about a month after receiving the award, regardless of whether you’ve finished the course.
Sharing your feedback
You’ll let us share written or recorded excerpts of your feedback in our course marketing if we’d like, along with:
your name
a photo of you
your video work
links to your social media or website
Course participation
We want this scholarship to go to someone who has the time and desire to invest in this course. While you don’t need to complete every lesson, we expect that:
you’ll watch more than half of the course videos
you’ll finish both video projects (a 60-second visual sequence and a longer video where you’re talking)
you’ll submit project assignments to the online group
Application deadline
Apply for the scholarship (the form’s below) by October 25th to be considered.
Eligibility
You must be over 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to apply.
Awardee selection
We’ll use application answers to choose the scholarship recipient based on:
who has the time and desire to invest in the course
who we think will get the most value out of the course
We’ll email you by October 26th if you’ve been selected.
