What was your experience with video before The Big Video Course?

I've always been interested in video, but it just seemed so overwhelming even though I know my way around a camera. I had bought a class on making videos in the past but honestly never got all the way through it and the videos didn't hold my attention.

What was most valuable about the course?

I loved the cheat sheets and the timestamps on the videos! It made it so easy to go back to exactly the right spot when I needed help on something specific.

The two homework projects were also super helpful because they ripped the bandaid off so to speak. I could just experiment and see what worked or didn’t, and it wasn't a big deal if I screwed up because it was just practice.

What was least valuable?

I didn't really use the office hours but I appreciate that they are there.

How easy was the course to follow?

Super easy! Having everything step by step and in one place saved me hours of Googling and searching for tutorials on YouTube.

Any final thoughts?

If you're thinking about learning video, this is the course you need! The Big Video Course was much more in depth and thorough than other courses I've taken, and Mary is just delightful to learn from. I wasn't bored and didn't lose interest once, which is saying a lot for someone with ADHD.
